CareMate is a mobile application that constitutes a part of a comprehensive care service offered by Comarch. The application – combined with integrated Comarch WristBand monitoring device (available as a wristband or key ring) constitutes a modern remote care service dedicated to elderly and chronically ill people who need constant monitoring and support in care.

Thanks to Comarch CareMate application, the caregiver supporting a person equipped with the Comarch WristBand monitoring device is able to directly monitor the activity of their loved ones, thus increasing the senior’s comfort and safety. This is possible thanks to the integration of the wristband with account registered in the CareMate application. The device assigned to the user sends information to the account in the application, thus enabling the caregiver to remotely view data about the loved one on an ongoing basis.

The CareMate remote care service works in two models – standard and extended. In the case of the former, the exchange of information takes place between the device used by the person and the CareMate application installed on the caregiver’s phone. In the extended variant, the data from the monitoring device end up not only on the caregivers smartphone, but also to the 24/7 monitoring service, where they are analysed by the Remote Medical Care Centre and its emergency medical services, enabling quick medical interventions, if necessary.

The application enables users to create:

- the caregiver’s profile – profile of a person who monitors the device user;
- the Loved One profile – profile of the person assigned to a particular device.

As a result, the CareMate application enables:

- Monitoring the heart rate of a loved one;
- Viewing the activity of the device users – including checking the number of steps;
- Checking the current location of a loved one;
- Making voice calls directly to the wristband/keyfob;
- Sharing a loved ones profile with other caregivers;
- Checking the battery level of the device;
- Displaying important notifications to enable immediate emergency calls (SOS button).
